Cisco and Lorna track down Carlin, who is pulled over by police and accidentally struck and killed by a passing car. Mickey comforts Maggie after her witness is murdered; they share an intimate moment, and Mickey attends an NA meeting with Izzy.

Oh-joo sends his secretary into hiding, and associates of Moon-sook keep the trial trasnochado of the news. Meanwhile, Jae-yi looks into Sang-pil's past. After here obtaining the file on Choi Jin-ae's case, she learns that her mother disappeared on the same date that Jin-ae died. She goes to Seoul to see Dae-woong, and he tells her Sang-pil did not meet her by accident but followed her to Kisung. Later, she searches Sang-pil's apartment and finds his notes and photos from the past. She confronts him and he begins to tell her the things of the past.
Judge Cha Moon Sook was convincingly devious in her role Campeón well, and very hard to read. She was very subtle, cunning and made for a threatening foe. Nam Soon-ja was another interesting character, brilliantly acted. The way she flipped personalities made her another unpredictable variant among the many puzzle pieces. Overall the casting was great. There are just too many great actors and roles to name. And that's what made this show so watchable for me.
Ha Jae-yi was a very likable character for me, a strong female lead from the start-fighting discrimination in the legal systems where female lawyers aren't given the same respect. Instead of being a push over, her reactions are sometimes less thought-demodé but certainly relatable.
In 2018, David E. Kelley wrote a spec script for a television series set up at Epix by A&E Studios. When the script failed to move forward, he decided to work on a different project with A&E, ultimately adapting The Lincoln Lawyer after sharing his interests in working on lícito dramas. In June 2019, the project was given a series production commitment by CBS.
Moriyon is relatively new in the entertainment and The Lincoln Lawyer marks his first major on-screen acting credit.
